Soundwaves
Some of the Y8's have recently been learning about sound waves. To finish the unit, they were asked to write/draw an answer to the big question:
'Why can my friend still hear the children playing outside even when her balcony door is closed?'
In their answers, they were asked to explain how sound waves are produced, how they travel and how we detect them, as well as to give some advice to my friend on how to reduce the problem. They produced a range of scientifically detailed and creative answers, some of which we would like to share with you here.
Well done Y8!
